Zootopia 08

I know it has been a while since my last concert post and I apologize but now I am devoted to catching up to present time so that I can write as things happen which is how a normal blog should be. So anyway, this one probably won’t be as long and detailed as usual.

It was a week before Zootopia. The lineup for the show was Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Simple Plan, Sara Bareilles, Gavin DeGraw, Jesse McCartney, Ferras, OneRepublic, Jordin Sparks, Danity Kane, and New Kids on the Block. Before each Zootopia, there is also a preshow which is very conveniently free of charge (which would feature Metro Station, Sara Barellies, Push Play, and Flyleaf).

I was sitting in math class day dreaming about how fun the concert would be, but the problem was that I hadn’t gotten any tickets for the show. Earlier, I had searched online for cheap tickets, but I couldn’t find any in my desired price range. After thinking about how fun it would be and how much I would be missing out if I didn’t go, I passed a note to my friend Emily who sat behind me in math saying “Can we PLEASE go to Zootopia?” She replied back, “Yes.”   … continue reading this entry.

Look Me In The Eyes Tour!

Next stop: March 22nd, 2008!

This was around the time that JB were reaching complete and total stardom. When I got there, me and my friends met up with a man who works with the Jonas Brothers and he gave us passes to their soundcheck. After signing their bus, we saw a mob of people so we got closer to see who it was. … continue reading this entry.

Go to their Myspace and wish him a Happy Birthday!

I wonder what he’ll get for his birthday. Maybe a car! I bet he’ll get his license before Joe! Haha!

A couple more :)

In august last year, I also went to one more Jonas Brothers concert in Poughkeepsie, NY, but I’ve decided to just skip that because there’s nothing interesting and no pictures either. So yeah. Moving on…

September, October, and November went by, empty of a single concert 😦

In December, the Hannah Montana concerts were approaching. I went to two, both in late December. The 27th and 28th to be exact.

We got to park in the garage with the tour buses and everything which was backstage, so we came in through backstage. I made sure that we were early so that we could maybe get the chance of seeing some of soundcheck. When we got in, I look up on the stage from the side and see … continue reading this entry.

Jonas CD release.

Firstly, just letting you know, I’m actually not planning to only write about the Jonas Brothers, but I’m going in order of my concerts and this is just how it is! So, bear with me. It will switch around soon-ish. I promise!

Ok, so the next stop is August 7th, 2007 a.k.a., the Jonas Brothers’ SECOND CD release (yes, they have 3 CDs, not just two) They had a concert that day in New York City at the Blender Theater @ Grammercy. Tons and tons of people got there SO early to make sure they were towards the front of the line because it was general admission where you pretty much just run to any open space. The doors were to open at 6 and the show would start at 7. My friends and I got there at about 5, figuring we’d just squish our way through the crowd once we got in. But, when we got there, we found out that we had … continue reading this entry.

June 17th, 2007. Jonas Brothers

My second Jonas Brothers concert.

This story’s pretty crazy. It remains one of the funniest, most exciting, best day of my life.

It all started off with a contest. My friend Emily and I found out from our friend Lauren that the Jonas Brothers’ street team was hosting a contest to meet the boys at a free concert in New York City that we were already planning on attending.  … continue reading this entry.

My favorite band of all time is the Jonas Brothers. But my love for them didn’t appear out of thin air. Here’s some background information on how it all got started:
